Inventors Society of South Florida Names 2014 People’s Choice Awards
Fort Lauderdale, FL (May 07, 2014) Three winners were announced in the Inventors Society of South Florida (ISSF) People’s Choice Awards that took place at the monthly meeting of the ISSF on Saturday May 3, 2014 at Ligi Tool & Engineering in Deerfield Beach, Florida. They are: Alan McBreaty inventor of The Ultimate Adventure Towel/Bag Combo called the PTATT, Jeff Christlieb, inventor of The CatchaPoo and Danielle Smith inventor of the Beauty Butler®.
About the Award: The People’s Choice award was created in 2005 to recognize local inventors and their inventions. Each year the Inventors Society invites attendees of the Annual Inventors Expo to choose their favorite invention from all those displayed during the event. This year’s expo took place on February 15th at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. Out of 55 exhibitors, the top three vote-getters (winners) are then presented with the People’s Choice Award during a monthly meeting following the EXPO.
Leo Mazur, President of the ISSF presented the People’s Choice Awards during the May monthly meeting of the Inventors Society. According to Mazur: “Although it was a close competition, the three winners were in my opinion, the best of the best. Each of this year’s winners are people of vision and unrelenting persistence. Their inventions are clever products that exemplify the saying “Necessity is the mother of invention.'”
