The King Of Licensing
(Need I Say More?)
Stephen Key lives and breathes licensing. I believe just about every independent inventor in the world would agree with his philosophy which is, let the companies who already have all the elements in place to bring a product to market do so to free up the inventors to do what they do best…Invent!
In most cases, I couldn’t agree more. Obviously, so do inventors as InventRight, the company he co-founded with Andrew Kraus in 1999, has grown to help inventors from 60 countries succeed in obtaining licenses for their inventions. As a matter of fact I don’t believe a week goes by without his team at InventRight sending out a congratulatory email to a student who just got a license.
Stephen was and still is a prolific inventor himself with projects ranging from toys to a manufacturing process for a packaging solution which received 15 industry awards, including two Edisons that he had to defend against a large international toy company and Won!
He has written 3 books on the subject including “One Simple Idea” which many consider the bible of licensing, has a very educational YouTube Channel as well as writing articles for Forbes, Inc and Entrepreneur magazine.
As an avid volunteer, Stephen is involved with several programs to help the Independent Inventor Community. He co-founded the Inventor Groups of America which holds monthly teleconference meetings with the leaders of Invention groups from all over the country to discuss new ways of helping our members. He also co-founded invent YES! which is a youth program that now includes his 10 step workbook and a series of corresponding webinars available to high school students around the world for FREE.
If you ever considered licensing your products (and what inventor hasn’t) or just want to learn more about it from the King, Stephen will be giving his presentation at 2:30 pm as part of our program for our annual Better Than FREE Inventors EXPO on 2/9/19 at the Main Branch of the Broward County Library 100 S. Andrews Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.
The Exhibits will open at 10:30 am and remain open until about 4:30 pm. Come early and see all the new inventions. Be in the auditorium Before 2:30 so you don’t miss a minute.
